Hedgehog and mushroom – coloring or applique? Let’s combine them and see what we get in the end.

- Scissors.
- Glue.
Hedgehog and Mushroom Coloring Page
We have a saying:

Clear lines, large elements, and amusing images are what make it attractive. You can choose any coloring page that you or your children like. If you need the same picture of a hedgehog and a mushroom for coloring like ours, download it from THIS LINK in high quality from Google Drive.
Margarita was coloring with both pencils and markers. There was a hedgehog with thick grey needles and a fly agaric.

It turned out bright and contrasting. And of course, there were no stickers left out – a cute butterfly settled on the picture.

Now, let’s take scissors and colored paper and switch to another technique for this task – applique. We need several shades of green. We will cut long and narrow triangular strips.

Here’s what you need to do now. Stick the green pieces close to each other on the hedgehog with mushrooms coloring page.

So as to completely conceal and hide the image.

Ah, one layer is not enough. It may require a second or even a third layer of paper. Let’s make the grass thicker so that almost nothing is visible behind it.

Who is hiding in the grass?
By this point, everyone was already tired. It’s the perfect time to switch up our activity and play. Come on, guess who’s hiding in the grass?

It will be much more interesting if we give children different pictures to color. Then guessing will be much more exciting. Who is sitting in the grass? Hedgehog? Bunny? Fox? Squirrel? Mice from autumn leaves? That’s how a simple coloring of a hedgehog with mushrooms turned into an applique and a game.
